Back to the Beach 2010 Car Show
Sun Coast Cruisers present their annual Car Show Preview and Cruise. On Friday, March 12 cars line up at Food Lion parking lot at 7pm and cruise down to the Fort Fisher Recreation Area. Saturday, March 13 we will display plenty of vehicles at Fort Fisher Recreation Area. This show is FREE to the general public. Registration is from 8am until noon opens to the public at 9am. Come on down and see all types of cars and trucks. This is a rain or shine event. There will be plenty of parking for trailers. For more information call 910.231.6877 or 910.452.3211.

6th Annual Steve Haydu St. Patricks Lo-Tide Run
The start/finish lines will be at the Pavilion on the Boardwalk, at the end of Cape Fear Boulevard . Registration will begin at 7am at Cabana Suites, located at 222 Carolina Avenue North. You will be directed to parking areas near the finish lines and registration area. The 10K Run and the 5K Run, Walk, or Shuffle will start at the Pavilion, and end on the beach in front of the Boardwalk. This is a Flat PR course with USTAF Certification. The proceeds will be given to one or more cancer patients and their family. Please see the website for more information.

Walking Tour of "The Sugar Loaf Line of Defense"
Dr. Chris Fonvielle will lead the tour. Meet at the Federal Point History Center. Tickets will be available beginning March 1 at the Federal Point History Center. Rain date is April 1. Tickets are $6. Call 910.458.0502 for more information.

Alligator Egg Hunt
Come join the fun on our Alligator Egg Hunt. Kids get to see a live baby alligator and learn about these fascinating animals. They create their own special alligator egg basket and then go search for candy filled "alligator eggs." Recommended for kids 3-10. Limited space is available. Ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Fee is $8 per child plus admission. Program is at 10am & 1pm.
